A beer close to our hearts, designed by our late co-founder Dylan. The namesake, Cobbosseecontee Lake, was place Dylan was passionate about, and he was equally passionate about beer, especially Kölsch. Having traveled to Cologne, he dreamed of brewing a beer that reminded him of sunshine, bottomless kranz trays, and biergartens. When we set out to create an opening day line-up, there was never a question that a Kölsch would be one of our specialties, and that Contee would be its name. We proudly continue to brew his original recipe, a clean and crisp ale that drinks like a lager with delicate biscuit undertones and vibrant malt backbone with subdued hop character.
